In this age of digitalization and also keeping pace with Digital India campaign, we at Forum for Fast Justice also contribute whatever little we can do and strive to move with time and protect our environment. The seeds of this venture were sown at the National Convention 2018 that was held at Rajkot in Gujarat where it was decided discontinue the print version of our quarterly in-house journal ‘NYAY DISHA’ and switch over to digital version and hand over the same to National Federation of Societies for Fast Justice. I take this opportunity to congratulate Shri Raj Kachroo, President of National Federation of Societies for Fast Justice and Shri Pravin Patel our Trustee and National Convener and their team in making our dream come true.

We lack in minimum required physical infrastructure of courts and Judges to cope up with huge unprecedented pendency of about 3.72 crore cases. There is also dire need for drastic police reforms besides audio video recording of court proceedings, increase in budgetary allocations, use of technology and professional management practices in our courts of law are also some of the issues. Rule of Law is also a major concern with increased incidents of lynching on the streets, violence against women, criminalization of politics etc are some of the issues that need wider discussions. ‘NYAY DISHA’ provides a platform where the concerns of we, the people of India can be expressed, debated and discussed. Digital ‘NYAY DISHA’ will also provide opportunity to Non Resident Indians in Asia, Europe, America, Middle East, Africa, Australia and elsewhere.

I assure all possible support to the team behind Nyay Disha and wish it all the success.

Trustee and Immediate Past Chairman
